Taken directly from the "Loose Figures and Crowd Scenes" DVD, artist Sean Dye will show you how he takes primary colors to lay out the initial color with gouache on an ampersand board. After drawing the outline with India ink, the darkest darks will go on first and get lighter as he moves throughout the piece.
