LUKAS Acrylic Pouring MediumsSave Up to80%Off list…no noticeable cavities and absolutely no cracking. The rule of thumb is the lower viscosity of the paint, such as ink, the smaller the ratio of the pouring medium, while thicker heavy body paint would receive a more significant portion of the medium. You can use virtually any acrylic based color,… The Unique, next level of pouring medium! More of what you love and less of what you don't like about pouring! When added to acrylic paint, traditional pouring mediums generate random cells of color; as a result, most pourers add silicone to the mix to create more interesting shapes. LUKAS Pouring Medium is unique because you can create more dramatic effects without adding silicone and still produce spectacular cell formations. Other pouring mediums on the market such as Liquitex are very tacky until thoroughly dry causing dust particles to interfere with results. Surface defects from craters to cracks are a pitfall of traditional and household pouring mediums. LUKAS Pouring Medium is a real breakthrough because it dries to a beautiful satin sheen with almost no noticeable cavities and absolutely no cracking. The rule of thumb is the lower viscosity of the paint, such as ink, the smaller the ratio of the pouring medium, while thicker heavy body paint would receive a more significant portion of the medium. You can use virtually any acrylic based color, but we suggest richly pigmented colors! You can pour this flexible acrylic medium over almost any substrate, but it is better to pour on a hard flat surface such as a wooden panel. By changing mix ratios, variety of colors, viscosity, and types of substrates, it is almost impossible to run out of distinct variations. If you did five pours every day for the rest of your life, you’d only scratch the surface on the final creations you could create! LUKAS Pouring Medium is the next level of pouring medium designed to create the most beautiful and interesting pours. If for any reason you don’t feel that LUKAS Pouring Medium yields the best results in pouring, you can return it for a full refund. Key Features: * No need to add silicone for more cell formation* Pour over any hard flat surface* Dries to a permanent hard, water-resistant surface* Even sheen, non-tacky, satin sheen* Higher definition, greater cell formation* Smooth level surfaces, less defects* No cracks and no craters* Will not yellow or discolor over time* Less tacky* Dries to a permanent water resistant, crack free surface* Formulated with self leveling and anti crater additives* Impossible to run out of inspiration* Available In: 250ml, 500ml & 5 Liter(169oz / 1.32 gallons) Perfect For: * Dirty pours and cup pouring * Liquid pouring * Superb control and excellent definition * Creating interesting pours * Organic shape creation * Beautiful satin sheen * Everyday studio use * Pouring Medium Brochure Pouring Medium: V30392 or V30393 LUKAS pouring medium improves the flow characteristics of acrylic paints and is perfect for pouring techniques. Once dry, the medium creates a transparent, waterproof, polished surface. Formulated with self levelling and anti crater additives that also enable cell formation without the use of silicones. LUKAS pouring medium contains synthetic resin dispersion additives to improve flow but will not yellow or discolor over time. See More

You can then pour the mixture over your chosen substrate. The Daler Rowney FW Acrylic Ink Pouring Medium has a gel-like consistency, and when you mix it with ink, you must mix it long enough to turn the gel ink mixture into a creamy, pourable liquid. The mixture's viscosity improves if it is left to stand for an hour before you pour it. Directions for FW Epoxy Resin and Hardener: Due to its flexibility and strength, FW Epoxy is perfect for creating resin art, laminating, or casting load-bearing forms, sculptures, and statues. Mix 1 part FW Epoxy Resin with 1 part FW Epoxy Hardener to finalize your 3D art. You can pour or brush it on the surface. The resin will self-level to form a perfectly flat gloss finish. It's important to cure the piece at ambient temperature. FW Epoxy is surface dry in 60 minutes, and the coating will be touch dry within 12-24 hours. Once cured, FW Epoxy Resin and Hardener won't shrink or distort over time. Equally suitable for indoor and outdoor use once dry. Please be advised although our resins are UV stabilized, this does not mean they are UV proof. Ultimately our FW clear epoxy resin will show signs of UV degradation over time. See More

GOLDEN Silverpoint / Drawing GroundSave Up to30%Off list…warping. Artist Testimonial and Review Great Medium--Just Apply It Quickly! "This medium sets up very quickly, and can be colored with acrylic paint if desired. Ensure that a less absorbent paper or surface is used, as you will have more time to apply it before it dries (you will also use less… Allows greater fineness of line with diverse drawing media Silverpoint, or metal point, drawing as an art form has changed little over the centuries of its distinguished history. Formulated to meet the unique needs of metal point artists, GOLDEN Silverpoint / Drawing Ground offers a metal receptive ground, applicable to a range of drawing supports. Developed for easy application, the ground has a very fluid consistency that will level as it dries. A Single coat of Silverpoint / Drawing Ground provides a smooth, durable surface, ideal for mark making with a silverpoint stylus or other metal, such as brass, gold, copper, or even a steel paperclip. It is a low viscosity fluid that contains high levels of titanium dioxide and prepares surfaces to readily accept marks from a metal stylus.Key Features:* Size: 8oz Bottle* Formulated with 100% acrylic polymer emulsion* Designed for the achievement of fine, detailed lines * Permanent, lightfast* More flexible over time than traditional preparations* Silverpoint / Drawing Ground offers a metal receptive ground* Developed for easy application* Very fluid consistency that will level as it dries* Provides a smooth, durable surface* Allows greater fineness of line with diverse drawing media such as graphite, colored pencil, ink, and some markers The artist working in silverpoint today has an intimate connection to the work of such revered artists as da Vinci and Rembrandt, as well as more recently, Picasso and Joseph Stella. As tiny particles of metal are left behind on a slightly abrasive ground, metal point drawing offers the ability to achieve lasting, exquisitely detailed lines that won't smudge. If different types of metal are used within a piece, over time oxidation of the different metals will impart subtle shifts in the tonality of the lines. As the time honored art form of metal point drawing experiences a resurgence, Golden Artist Colors responds to the requests of practicing artists by introducing Silverpoint/Drawing Ground. Designed for the achievement of fine, detailed lines, Silverpoint/Drawing Ground is permanent, lightfast and more flexible over time than traditional preparations. While many artists enjoy the fineness of line and delicate qualities achieved with a metal stylus on Silverpoint/Drawing Ground, the scope of this product should not be limited to a singular use. When used as a general drawing ground, other media may be intermixed with metal point drawing or used alone to create new effects. It is possible to adjust the absorbent qualities of substrates with Silverpoint/Drawing Ground. By putting a very thin layer of the ground over the entire surface, the substrate's absorbency is decreased. This allows greater fineness of line with Perse drawing media such as graphite, colored pencil, ink, and some markers. In addition, small amounts of other GOLDEN Fluid Acrylic colors can be added to this ground for tinting purposes without a significant drop in performance. GOLDEN SILVERPOINT/DRAWING GROUND APPLICATIONS GOLDEN Silverpoint / Drawing Ground is designed for thin applications only. When applied too thickly the film may crack upon curing. A single thin coat is typically sufficient. Silverpoint / Drawing Ground can generally be tinted with a maximum of 15% GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics without negatively affecting its performance It can be brush or spray applied to paper, primed canvas, wood or any surface that will accept a water-based coating. The most common substrate for metal point drawing is heavy weight hot pressed watercolor paper. Note: Because lower weight papers are susceptible to buckling from the moisture in the Silverpoint / Drawing Ground, some artists may find taping the edges down will help prevent extensive warping. Artist Testimonial and Review Great Medium--Just Apply It Quickly! "This medium sets up very quickly, and can be colored with acrylic paint if desired. Ensure that a less absorbent paper or surface is used, as you will have more time to apply it before it dries (you will also use less of it). Great product-I will definitely purchase this again." It creates a toothy surface similar to papers used with pastel and chalk. For an even rougher texture, Fine or Coarse Pumice Gel can be added. GOLDEN Pastel Ground for Pastel can also be tinted with acrylic colors for colored grounds. (Golden acrylics). GOLDEN Pastel Ground is a 100% acrylic medium designed to prepare surfaces for the application of pastels, charcoal and other art media where a coarse tooth is desired. It contains finely ground sand (silica) in a pure acrylic emulsion. Pastel Ground can be applied to paper, canvas, wood or any primed support. This allows almost limitless applications for media typically confined to standard papers. Key Features:* Sizes: 8oz, 32oz & 1 Gallon* Creates toothy surface similar to papers* Acrylic preparation for pastels* Fine or Coarse Pumice Gel can be added* Can also be tinted with acrylic colors Pastel Ground can be used as a toothy, gritty ground for many different media, including: Dry Media:* Soft Pastels* Graphite Pencils* Colored Chalks* Charcoal* Powdered Charcoal Water-based Media: * Water-Soluble Pastels* Colored Pencils* Pastel Pencils* Wax Crayons* Watercolor Pencils* Acrylic Paints Oil-based Media: * Oil Pastels* Oil Sticks* Paint Sticks* Ink Sticks* Pigment Sticks* Oil Paints GOLDEN Pastel Ground Application Thinning Due to the weight of the solids in Ground for Pastels, it is produced very thick, and does not come ready to brush-apply. Thin 20-40% with water to desired consistency. Application Apply with brush, paint-roller, spray equipment, squeegee or palette knife. Mix up only as much as is needed for one day"s work, as the solids will settle rapidly and be extremely difficult to mix back into suspension. Surface Preparation Non-absorbent surfaces should be abraded for increased adhesion. Prime with GOLDEN Gesso or other suitable primers (depending on substrate). Apply one or more coats of GOLDEN Pastel Ground to achieve the desired tooth. On paper, use heavier weight stock to avoid buckling. Allow ground to fully dry before applying media. Color Additions Pastel Ground can be blended with GOLDEN Acrylic Paints to achieve colored grounds. However, add minimal amounts of color since all additions of paint to Ground will decrease the tooth. GOLDEN High Flow Acrylics and Fluid Acrylics blend easily into the ground without thickening the product. High Load Acrylics have the highest pigment load and therefore provide the most color in the least amount of paint. Unless transparency is desired, select paints that are inherently opaque, such as the Pyrroles or earth colors. This will allow lower additions as well. Airbrushing thin layers of color after the ground has dried will give the strongest saturation of color to the ground without affecting the gritty surface. See More

The addition of GAC 800 promotes… GAC 100% acrylic polymer mediums GOLDEN GAC mediums are useful as mediums or modifiers of acrylic paints. GAC (short for Golden Artist Colors) Specialty Acrylic Polymers are based on 100% acrylic polymer emulsions. GAC mediums can be used to extend acrylic colors, to regulate transparency, create glazes, increase gloss, reduce viscosity or improve adhesion and film integrity. The GAC polymers can also be used for binding pigment solids for various effects and surfaces. Unlike the other GOLDEN Mediums and Gels, GOLDEN GAC Acrylic Polymers have only a minimum amount of thickeners, levelers, defoamers and surfactants to ensure good film formation. The consistency of the GAC polymer medium is very fluid, and thinner than other GOLDEN Mediums. Since they do not have thickeners added, these polymers will reduce the thickness of most GOLDEN Acrylic Paints. Fluid Acrylics are slightly thicker than the GACs, but will be the color line least changed in viscosity with any addition of a GAC polymer. Each GAC medium represents a unique polymer that offers certain specific attributes. Therefore, each GAC medium will have its own unique benefits and applications. * GAC 100 Primer Extender Acrylic Polymer Medium: Universal acrylic polymer. Is a thin, translucent, gloss medium. Useful for thinning or extending colors as well as increasing flexibility. Wets out solids more readily than other polymers and is useful for creating homemade paints. GAC 100 provides basic protection from Support Induced Discoloration (SID) * GAC 200 Hard Acrylic Extender Polymer Medium: Promotes adhesion and film hardness. Hard acrylic extender for non-porous surfaces is the hardest and least flexible polymer we offer. It is Ideal for mixing with acrylic colors to increase film hardness, reduce dry film tack and to increase adhesion to many non-porous surfaces. Dries to a clear, high gloss, finish. GAC 200 is not recommended for flexible supports. * GAC 400 Low Crazing Acrylic Extender Polymer Medium: Stiffens textile fibers. Stiffens natural fibers and fabrics and is useful for stiffening unprimed canvas or sculpting and shaping fabric. Fibers saturated with GAC 400 will dry to a hard, stiff film. * GAC 500 Self-Leveling Acrylic Polymer Medium: Extends fluid acrylics. Gloss extender for Fluid Acrylic Colors is a unique balance of film hardness and flexibility offering increased leveling, increased mar resistance and decreased dry film tack. GAC 500 is particularly useful for extending Fluid Acrylic Colors with minimal property change. It can be mixed with Airbrush Transparent Extender for a fast-drying, sprayable isolation coat. * GAC 800 Low Crazing Acrylic Extender Polymer Medium (Pouring Medium): Reduces crazing. GAC 800 is a medium specifically produced to modify paints for pouring, such as when pouring a puddle onto a paint surface Is a low-crazing extender for pouring acrylic colors. "Crazing" is the formation crevices in surfaces that develop as acrylic paints and mediums dry. The addition of GAC 800 promotes drying with a smooth, even film, good gloss and flexibility, but with moderate clarity. GAC 800 is also useful for adhesion to chalky surfaces. * GAC 900 Fabric Medium: Fabric painting medium. Heat set fabric painting medium, offers a very soft hand and laundering stability. Mix with High Flow Acrylics to produce "tie-dye" effects, or blend with GOLDEN Heavy Body, Matte or Fluid Acrylics for brush or screen application.* See More

Fast Medium/Fixer will speed up the layering process. Excellent for fast glazing and quick layering techniques. Slow Medium: Atelier Slow Medium slows down the drying time when added to Atelier Interactive Acrylic paint. You can thin the viscosity of your Interactive paint while also giving yourself more time to work. Ideal for larger paintings. It tacks up quickly, but it can easily be brought back to a more fluid stage by spraying it with water. Thick Slow Medium: has a gel-like consistency that is useful when artists want to have more blending time but do not want a thinner paint. You can use Thick Slow Medium for spreading and diluting paint without making it thin or runny. The concentrated medium is best used in small amounts. Just add to your palette when you want to maximize viscosity, and keep your Atelier Interactive Acrylic paints open for an extended period. Heavy Gel Gloss: A thick, water-based, glossy acrylic gel medium designed to create texture in acrylic painting. Heavy Gel Gloss creates a more translucent and buttery paint and increases gloss levels. It can also be used as an adhesive to bond other materials to the painting. *Note that the Heavy Gel Gloss uses conventional fast-drying technology, but it can take quite some time to dry when they are applied thickly. Clear Painting Medium: is one of the most popular mediums in acrylic painting. It is used with the paint to dilute the viscosity and blend colors without losing pigment intensity. This mid-viscosity medium allows the paint to spread over a surface for more blendable gradations of color. Retarder: slows down the drying process when added to acrylics and mediums. Retarder is particularly useful when painting wet-over-wet or wet-over-dry techniques. About 10% addition to any of the three mediums above can be useful for painting outdoors or in very dry conditions. See More
