Galkyd Lite is more fluid and less glossy compared to Galkyd. Thin layers will be touch-dry in 24 to 30 hours. This low viscosity alkyd resin painting medium is a good replacement for traditional damar/ linseed oil/ turpentine combination mediums. Galkyd Lite dries within about 3 hours to a subdued gloss, and will maintain your brush strokes. For thinning, Gamblin recommends using Gamsol or a small amount of Refined Linseed Oil.
