The bluish color helps to identify the masked areas and darkens when drying. You can apply it directly to the surface and then paint over it once the gum is dry. Alternatively, you can draw with the gum over an already applied color and cover the masking gum with another color to have a colored masked area instead of coloring the bare surface. Once dry, peel or rub the gum off with your fingers within a maximum of 15 days after application. Apply a thin layer of color to the dry masking gum to obtain clean lines after peeling or rubbing off. You can clean the brush with soapy water. Setacolor Matt-Satin and Gloss Varnishes: Protective varnishes must be applied to the work for optimal and long-lasting results. Available in 2 finishes: matt/satin or gloss. The varnish will help to seal the color perfectly, protecting your creation from rubbing, scratches, wear and tear, and water.
