Open Back Frames
An open back frame is a type of frame that allows you to see the back of the canvas or print from behind. You can choose from a variety of styles, including single and double matting, as well as optional frames for your piece. Open-back frames are ideal for displaying small pieces in an area where you want to make sure they're visible but not overwhelming. Open back frames are often made from wood or metal and have an open space between the two sides that let you see through from one side to another. You can also use these frames for canvas, prints and photographs and are a great choice for enhancing the visual appeal of your artwork while providing a contemporary and sophisticated presentation. They provide a unique and stylish way to display artwork, allowing the viewer to appreciate the entire composition, including the sides and surface texture. Jerry's carries the largest selection of open back frames and frames for art at the best values.
Why use an Open Back Frame?
This style of framing allows the viewer to see all sides of the piece and shows off the artist's craftsmanship! Open back frames are also popular because they allow you to easily change out artwork without having to remove the entire frame from its mounting surface. They are great for stretched canvas and are available in a variety of styles and colors, so you can find one that makes the most of your work.
