What is an Open Back Frame?

An open back frame is a type of frame that allows you to see the back of the canvas or print from behind. You can choose from a variety of styles, including single and double matting, as well as optional frames for your piece. Open-back frames are ideal for displaying small pieces in an area where you want to make sure they're visible but not overwhelming. Open back frames are often made from wood or metal and have an open space between the two sides that let you see through from one side to another. You can also use these frames for canvas, prints and photographs. They provide a unique and stylish way to display artwork, allowing the viewer to appreciate the entire composition, including the sides and surface texture.
