Gloss Varnish - This water-based varnish contains no hazardous solvents. Protects finished paintings and provides a uniform glossiness. If dirty, the varnish can be removed with Artisan Varnish Remover. Impasto Medium - This water-mixable impasto and texturing medium helps maintain the consistency of the color and speeds drying by 50%. For thick impasto, build the texture in several layers, allowing each layer to dry first, mixing the Impasto thoroughly into the color before use. Linseed Oil - This water-mixable oil is the main binder in Artisan colors. When mixed with color, it reduces their consistency for better flow. Combine with water or Thinner to maintain the structure of the paint film. Matt Varnish - This water-based varnish contains no hazardous solvents. Provides protection for finished paintings and provides a uniform matte finish. If dirty, the varnish can be removed with Artisan Varnish Remover. Oil Painting Medium - This stand oil-based medium is ready to use from the bottle. The medium thins the consistency of Artisan colors and aids fine detail work. Safflower Oil - This oil should be used with pale pigments to help maintain their brightness. It also increases gloss and transparency. Satin Varnish - This water-based varnish contains no hazardous solvents. Provides protection for finished paintings and provides a uniform satin finish. If dirty, the varnish can be removed with Artisan Varnish Remover. Stand Oil - This highly durable linseed oil is partly polymerized by being heated in the absence of oxygen. This stand oil joins the molecules together, leaving less space for oxygen and hence a longer drying time. Thinner - Although water is suitable as a diluent for the color, its speedy evaporation can make the color thicken upon the palette much quicker than conventional oil color would when used with turpentine. Use this degreaser before applying Setacolor Leather Paint. *This is a Hazardous product. Observe the precautions for use. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Setacolor Lightening-Thinner Medium: For airbrushing, you should create a 1:1 mixture (thinner and color) to obtain an optimal viscosity for a smoother airbrush. This technique is highly recommended for customizing sneakers. The result is uniform (if you master the airbrush technique) and leaves no trace of paint. This auxiliary also lets you dilute, liquefy, and lighten Setacolor Leather colors when applied with a brush or airbrush without altering their properties (resistance, shine, etc.), unlike diluting with water. Setacolor Glue: Glue is an auxiliary for bonding cotton, leather, polyester, etc., with pearls, powders, or beads. You should only apply the glue to the necessary areas, and we recommend gluing directly without waiting for it to dry. It is crucial to remove any residues before the glue dries. Setacolor Masking Fluid: Masking Fluid is a peelable drawing gum perfect for defining paint-free areas on leather. Apply in a thick layer. Drying time varies depending on the thickness of the coating, but it should take approximately 30 minutes (Use a hair dryer to speed up drying). The bluish color helps to identify the masked areas and darkens when drying. You can apply it directly to the surface and then paint over it once the gum is dry. Alternatively, you can draw with the gum over an already applied color and cover the masking gum with another color to have a colored masked area instead of coloring the bare surface. Once dry, peel or rub the gum off with your fingers within a maximum of 15 days after application. Apply a thin layer of color to the dry masking gum to obtain clean lines after peeling or rubbing off. You can clean the brush with soapy water. Setacolor Matt-Satin and Gloss Varnishes: Protective varnishes must be applied to the work for optimal and long-lasting results. Available in 2 finishes: matt/satin or gloss. The varnish will help to seal the color perfectly, protecting your creation from rubbing, scratches, wear and tear, and water. They can be applied with a brush for an entirely uniform finish or with an airbrush without prior dilution for a shiny varnish and mixed 50:50 water and varnish for a matt-satin effect. The matt-satin varnish must be well mixed before use. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before varnishing. Tip: Mixing matt-satin and gloss varnishes can achieve the desired finish.
