Darwin is extremely stain resistant, will not warp and is the easiest to clean. Its surface is virtually non-absorbent and super strong with a melting point of 1,942 degrees Fahrenheit. If you paint in oils you can put this palette in your freezer to save paint and mixtures between sessions. The cold has no effect on the palette. The wide open area allows for mixing with less waste than any other palette in the world and it won't stain. With oil colors, it wipes clean, without the need to use harsh solvents, to a clean fresh surface. Dried in oil colors may be lifted off leaving very little if any staining of the surface. Acrylic artists' universally love this palette because not only does paint peel off when dry, but it is so easy to clean up any other paint residue that may not peel off.
