Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good size. I purchased this a while ago and have been very happy with it. The mixing areas are large enough and I like the four deeper mixing wells for mixing larger quantities of colour with water. The palette is very light and a bit bendy which is ok.

The lid protects the paint I leave from dust and the mixing area is conveniently large enough to help me mix my paint. I like that there are additional mixing areas on the lid itself so I don't have to worry about the accidental mixing of other paint. In the future, I believe I'll buy another one to support a different type of paint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Palette! I received this as a gift several months ago and it's been a great addition to my watercolor supplies! I love the size of the wells and that this has a cover, but my favorite part is the many, individual mixing areas. I am baffled by those who worry the wells will puncture over time. I don't know how others paint, but the only part of my brush that touches the paint in the wells are the bristles, so I cannot fathom this being an issue. I love this palette and highly recommend it!

Are the pigment wells bigger than a half pan ? I’m wanting large pigment wells to roll my brush in , not just bash  the tip of my brush.
