First, hairs are carefully blended exactly by a skilled brush dresser, painstakingly pinching the shape into an exact bundle for the shape and size. The bundles are hand-tied, shaped, and measured. They are then placed into a nickel-plated brass ferrule and secured with polyurethane glue.
