Each paper card has a 170 lb. (360 gsm) stiff weight, similar to Bristol. It's hard to fold, crease, or puncture the card, unlike other pastel papers. The surface has a neutral pH, slightly abrasive vegetable fiber coating that reacts with soft and oil pastels to enhance adhesion, thus reducing the need to fix artwork heavily.
