Setacolor Glue: Glue is an auxiliary for bonding cotton, leather, polyester, etc., with pearls, powders, or beads. You should only apply the glue to the necessary areas, and we recommend gluing directly without waiting for it to dry. It is crucial to remove any residues before the glue dries. Setacolor Masking Fluid: Masking Fluid is a peelable drawing gum perfect for defining paint-free areas on leather. Apply in a thick layer. Drying time varies depending on the thickness of the coating, but it should take approximately 30 minutes (Use a hair dryer to speed up drying). The bluish color helps to identify the masked areas and darkens when drying. You can apply it directly to the surface and then paint over it once the gum is dry. Alternatively, you can draw with the gum over an already applied color and cover the masking gum with another color to have a colored masked area instead of coloring the bare surface. Once dry, peel or rub the gum off with your fingers within a maximum of 15 days after application. Apply a thin layer of color to the dry masking gum to obtain clean lines after peeling or rubbing off. You can clean the brush with soapy water. Setacolor Matt-Satin and Gloss Varnishes: Protective varnishes must be applied to the work for optimal and long-lasting results. Available in 2 finishes: matt/satin or gloss. The varnish will help to seal the color perfectly, protecting your creation from rubbing, scratches, wear and tear, and water. They can be applied with a brush for an entirely uniform finish or with an airbrush without prior dilution for a shiny varnish and mixed 50:50 water and varnish for a matt-satin effect. The matt-satin varnish must be well mixed before use. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before varnishing. Tip: Mixing matt-satin and gloss varnishes can achieve the desired finish. The UVLS system provides increased resistance to the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation, making the product suitable for exterior as well as interior application. MSA Varnish can be used over a wide variety of paints, including acrylic, oil, alkyd, egg tempera, watercolor, and casein. As a topcoat for acrylics, it provides a harder, lower tack surface that is much less susceptible to dirt and is more mar resistant.   GOLDEN MSA - available in Matte, Satin, and Gloss finishes. A mineral spirit based acrylic resin system that forms a tougher, less permeable film than waterborne acrylic varnishes. Can be applied to acrylic, oil, and alkyd painted surfaces. Reduces dirt penetration and surface marring, offering an extremely level film with less foam and fewer pinholes. Removable with mineral spirits after drying; recommended for interior or exterior use. Not for use by children. Thins with MSA Varnish Solvent.   MSA Varnish Solvent - the ideal solvent for thinning GOLDEN MSA Varnishes, which must be thinned before use. MSA Solvent assures clear, clean, even application. MSA Varnish (Gloss) dries to a highly reflective finish. MSA Varnish (Satin) offers moderate reflection, similar to most matte varnishes. MSA Varnish (Matte) finish is exceptionally flat.
