Williamsburg Handmade Oil Paint - Titanium White, 237ml CanSave Up to40%Off listWhite Handmade Master Quality Oil Paints Used by The World’s Finest Artists Getting the proper pigment is just the beginning! So much of the quality of oil paint is in the grinding. Each color is ground to enhance the beauty and luminosity specific to that particular pigment. Some colors by nature will feel slightly gritty, others extremely smooth. For instance, Cerulean Blue will have a beautiful velvet, light-absorbing surface with an extremely strong covering power; Siennas, by comparison, are often chunky or gritty to allow light to travel through the vehicle, exposing rich golden or mahogany undertow instead of just heavy, dull browns. Pigments are ground in pure alkali-refined, ph balanced linseed oil, and made in batches no larger than 5 gallons at a time. This gives total control over the paint, much like late 19th-century French color makers. All materials are hand measured, and every ounce of paint is scrutinized. Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors are then packaged in 37ml and 150ml non-reactive aluminum tubes. Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors are used by the world’s finest artists, whose works can be found at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA in New York City, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and the Beaubourg in Paris. Key Features:* Professional, Handmade Oil Colors* Incredibly pigment rich paint* Dense buttery texture* Extensive Cobalt & Cadmium Colors* Large assortment of Earth Colors* Oil color line of 178 colors!* 37ml & 150ml Tubes* 237ml & 473ml Cans* Manufactured In The U.S.A!* Perfect For:* Professional Oil Painters* Discerning students & amateurs* Artists favoring Old Masters materials* Enthusiasts of handmade oil paints* Producing museum-quality artworks See More

Williamsburg Safflower Oil Color 237 ml Can Titanium WhiteSave Up to40%Off listWhite Long Lasting Brilliance and Clarity in a Handmade Safflower Oil Paint - Reduces Yellowing! Going back to the earliest traditions of oil painting, Williamsburg offers 13 whites, blues, and other delicate transparent colors made with a far less yellowing safflower binder. Artists will find these invaluable for holding onto maximum clarity and brightness in the upper layers of their paintings. These colors are not recommended for underpainting or foundational layers within a painting, as safflower oil binder takes longer to dry and produces a slightly weaker film. Milled with the highest quality, expeller-pressed Safflower Oil, the line features Porcelain White as the only color of the line not offered in their Linseed-based oils. Porcelain White is a less brittle, semi-transparent alternative to Zinc White. As with all of Williamsburg’s products, their Safflower Oil Colors are painstakingly made by hand. They are available from Jerry’s in 37ml and 150ml tubes. Key Features:* Handmade Safflower Oil Colors* Longer dry times than linseed colors* Non-yellowing white & transparent colors* Safflower oil line of 13 colors* Perfect For:* Professional Oil Painters* Discerning students & amateurs* Artists concerned about yellowing* Enthusiasts of handmade oil paints See More

Winsor & Newton solvents are made specifically for artists’ use and are fully volatile, meaning they leave no residual matter once evaporated. Key Features: * Artists' Picture Cleaner * English Distilled Turpentine * Sansodor * White Spirit Perfect For: * Cleaning palettes and brushes * Removing dried paint * Removing varnish Picture Cleaner - A natural resin/oil emulsion containing ammonia, designed for cleaning varnished paintings. Dissolves linseed oil oxidation and removes surface dirt. English Distilled Turpentine - Can be used to create your own painting mediums. Distilled Turpentine is derived from pine trees and is the most traditional solvent. You can use it to clean brushes. Sansodor - For creating your own painting mediums. Sansodor™ performs like turpentine, but its low odor makes it the least hazardous solvent. Leading art schools recommend it, and it is often the only solvent permitted in their studios. Also good for diluting paint and cleaning brushes. It evaporates slowly and increases blending time. White Spirit - Can be used to create your own painting mediums. Artists’ White Spirit is a petroleum distillate. It makes a leaner mixture with the colour and evaporates quickly. It can be used to clean brushes. Centurion Deluxe Oil Primed Archival Linen Panel - 12" x 12" (Pack of 3)Save Up to84%Off listWhite Master Quality Archival Deluxe Linen Panels! Superb performance and color retention! Exclusive OP enhanced oil priming As an oil colorist, it is important to work on oil-primed surfaces and not universally primed surfaces. The reason is that universal primed surfaces are semi-absorbent. Gesso is absorbent even if it is plate smooth. The paint does not get absorbed as much and sits on the surface more making it easy to blend and manipulate. Granted, it is not highly absorbent, but the fact remains that some oil will get into the primer and flatten the image. You can get around this by using an under-painting oil ground on top of the surface of a universal ground canvas, but this is very time-consuming and expensive. Our primer does not contain zinc or lead. The main ingredients used in the coating of these panels are acrylic emulsion, titanium pigment, calcium carbonate, and alkyd resin. Unlike universal ground, our oil priming chemically bonds with the oil paint and is non-absorbent allowing the paint to sit up on the surface with the correct refraction quality of the oil binder. If you use any high-quality oil color, we urge you to use an oil-primed surface, and now we make it affordable! Exclusive OP Enhanced Oil Priming! Centurion Deluxe Professional Oil Primed Linen Panels, specifically designed for oil painters. Superb receptive surface accepts even the thinnest oil color lay down without fragmenting on the surface and is a permanent surface as colors adhere better on it than any other oil primed canvas on the market today! Acid-free and archival, the primed medium-textured linen is cleanly wrapped and adhered to a solid 3mm MDF wood board. Key Features: * Acid-free, Archival Linen Panels * 11oz.
