Pebeo Setacolor Leather Paint Medium - Lightening Deglazer, 110mlSave Up to28%Off list…leather designs. For best results, use the Setacolor primer-degreaser medium before painting for optimum adhesion. A 1:1 mixture of thinner and color should be created for airbrushing to obtain the optimal paint viscosity. Glue is an auxiliary for bonding pearls and beads to leather or polyester.… PREPARE - CREATE - PROTECT leather creations! Pebeo's Setacolor Leather Auxiliaries are perfect mediums for preparing, creating, and protecting leather designs. For best results, use the Setacolor primer-degreaser medium before painting for optimum adhesion. A 1:1 mixture of thinner and color should be created for airbrushing to obtain the optimal paint viscosity. Glue is an auxiliary for bonding pearls and beads to leather or polyester. Use Pebeo's matte satin or gloss varnish to protect the design and obtain the desired finish. Key Features: * Setacolor Auxiliaries * Opaque water-based acrylic mediums * Works with Setacolor Leather paints * Degreaser cleaner * Glue for attaching materials * Protective leather varnish Perfect For: * Customizing leather and imitation leather * Repairing discolored leather * Painting and airbrushing * Creating a satin, glossy, or matt-satin finish Setacolor Preparer-Degreaser*: This is an auxiliary product used to prepare and degrease the surface, remove the protective varnish that covers the leather, and degrease it for optimal paint adhesion. Use this degreaser before applying Setacolor Leather Paint. *This is a Hazardous product. Observe the precautions for use. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Setacolor Lightening-Thinner Medium: For airbrushing, you should create a 1:1 mixture (thinner and color) to obtain an optimal viscosity for a smoother airbrush. This technique is highly recommended for customizing sneakers. The result is uniform (if you master the airbrush technique) and leaves no trace of paint. This auxiliary also lets you dilute, liquefy, and lighten Setacolor Leather colors when applied with a brush or airbrush without altering their properties (resistance, shine, etc.), unlike diluting with water. Setacolor Glue: Glue is an auxiliary for bonding cotton, leather, polyester, etc., with pearls, powders, or beads. You should only apply the glue to the necessary areas, and we recommend gluing directly without waiting for it to dry. It is crucial to remove any residues before the glue dries. Setacolor Masking Fluid: Masking Fluid is a peelable drawing gum perfect for defining paint-free areas on leather. Apply in a thick layer. Drying time varies depending on the thickness of the coating, but it should take approximately 30 minutes (Use a hair dryer to speed up drying). The bluish color helps to identify the masked areas and darkens when drying. You can apply it directly to the surface and then paint over it once the gum is dry. Alternatively, you can draw with the gum over an already applied color and cover the masking gum with another color to have a colored masked area instead of coloring the bare surface. Once dry, peel or rub the gum off with your fingers within a maximum of 15 days after application. Apply a thin layer of color to the dry masking gum to obtain clean lines after peeling or rubbing off. You can clean the brush with soapy water. Setacolor Matt-Satin and Gloss Varnishes: Protective varnishes must be applied to the work for optimal and long-lasting results. Available in 2 finishes: matt/satin or gloss. The varnish will help to seal the color perfectly, protecting your creation from rubbing, scratches, wear and tear, and water. They can be applied with a brush for an entirely uniform finish or with an airbrush without prior dilution for a shiny varnish and mixed 50:50 water and varnish for a matt-satin effect. The matt-satin varnish must be well mixed before use. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before varnishing. Tip: Mixing matt-satin and gloss varnishes can achieve the desired finish. Mix 3 parts gloss varnish to 1 part matt-satin varnish for a satin finish. See More

Famously, cyanotype was used by Ana Atkins and other field biologists for indexing plant specimens with what were called photograms at the time. The Cyanotype process is incredibly simple and only employs two inexpensive chemicals and UV sunlight. Prints can be created on any natural fiber: paper, cotton, silk, wool, wood, etc. Jacquard has made Cyanotype printing easy as pie with pre-sensitized fabric that is ready for cyanotype printing. Simply pull the sheet out of the package, place objects or an inverted photographic negative on top, expose to light for three to fifteen minutes, submerge the fabric in water to reveal the blue cyanotype print, and finally hang the fabric to line dry. With Jacquard’s Cyanotype Pretreated Mural Fabric you can actually create a full-body print by laying on top of the mural fabric for the duration of exposure while not moving. The creative possibilities for Photographers, Mixed Media Artists, and Quilters are endless! If you would prefer to use your own papers or fabric Jacquard has made the chemistry of Cyanotype attainable with lightproof black bottles of Potassium Ferricyanide and Ferric Ammonium Citrate. The chemicals used for cyanotype are inexpensive and go a long way. Despite their perhaps alarming names, both are safe to handle and mix. That said, care should be taken to avoid ingestion, inhalation, and contact with skin. The instructions for the use of Potassium Ferricyanide and Ferric Ammonium Citrate are included in the link bellow Great for photographers, mixed media artists, printmakers, quilters, kids and more, the cyanotype process is easy, forgiving, quick, magical and fun. Capture the nuance of every shadow Key Features: * Harness the power of the sun to make detailed prints * Simply place the object on the sensitized surface and expose to sunlight (UV) * Sun exposure time is 3-15 minutes * Pre-sensitized Cyanotype fabric Perfect For: * Quilters and Surface Design Artists * Photographers * Mixed media artists, printmakers, quilters See More
