The sturdy, reusable palette box is coated in easy-to-clean enamel and contains 12 empty half pans. Simply fill the pans with watercolors of your choice, let them dry, and re-wet with water to paint. New York Central half pans snap snugly into the pan rails and can be rearranged.

Painter's Color Diary® Watercolor Swatch Cards are perfect for swatching the colors in a set for visual reference. These particular cards fit inside the lid of the included Watercolor Palette Box. The top of each card has a line for writing the paint brand or color family description. Each swatch rectangle has a bold black line for testing transparency or separating half-tones. The 100% cotton paper is sized to accept watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, pastel, oil pastel, and more.
