Matte is compatible with pigment based inks as well. Glossy - This super white paper is available in both medium weight (8.4 ml, 180 gram) and heavy weight (12.4 ml, 260 gram). The sheet is constructed of 5 layers. A backing sizing base layer, a base paper layer, surface sizing layer, ink absorbing layer, and glossy layer. Sheets have a 99% brightness. It features a high gloss finish with cast coating and a micro-porous surface. It is water resistant and allows for instant drying of ink. Matte - This heavy weight classic is constructed of four layers. With a sizing back layer, base paper layer, surface sizing layer and micro-porous layer. It has the feel and look of fine art paper creating beautiful reproductions. This sheet has a 99% brightness, great for creating contrast. Matte is only available in professional heavy weight (12.4 ml, 230 gram). Sampler Pack - Includes 2 sheets each of Gloss 180 gram, Gloss 260 gram and Matte 230 gram, all 8.5 × 11".
