Old Holland Oil Color - Titanium White, 1 LiterSave Up to44%Off listWhite Considered one of the Finest Oil Paints In the World! Manufacturing pigments since 1664, Old Holland Classic Oil Colors are still considered today as one of the top oil paints in the world! Boasting artists like Van Gogh, Vermeer, and other Dutch Masters that used their pigments and paints, Old Holland uses only pure, cold-pressed linseed oil as a binder with the highest possible pigment loads, creating brilliantly concentrated paints that provide exceptional covering power, strength of color, and color intensity. All Old Holland Classic Oil Paints are completely lightfast except for the Madder Lakes and Cremnitz White, which are nearly lightfast. All Old Holland oils are manufactured using stone rollers only, as the colors of the paint will not change due to metal oxidations (which will alter Cadmium colors). All colors are completely free of cheap fillers and artificial dryers like other premium paints contain. Although Old Holland Oils initially may seem very expensive, the heavy concentration of pigment is actually an exceptional value, given the covering power of the paint and minimum amount needed for color mixing. One tube of their highest possible concentration of pigment equals the pigment contained in 2 to three tubes of other professional brands! Old Holland Classic Oil Colors come in 40ml and 225ml tubes. Cremnitz White, Flake White, Mixed White, Titanium White, and Zinc White can be purchased in 125ml and 225ml tubes, as well as 475ml cans. Centurion Deluxe Oil Primed 10"x20" Linen Canvas .67" Deep (Box of 6)Save Up to64%Off listWhite Master Quality Archival Deluxe Stretched Canvas! Superb Performance And Color Retention! Exclusive OP Enhanced Oil Priming! As an oil painter, it is important to work on oil primed surfaces. First, oil on oil will provide the best chemical bond for the paint layers that go on, afterwards. Secondly, gesso are acrylic based, and either repel oil if they have too high of a resin base, or absorb the oil too much if it is too matte, making color sink and look dull and lifeless. Oil priming allows the color to sit cleanly and brightly on the surface, with refraction of the white from below. Centurion’s affordable (OP DLX) oil primed canvas is a great way to start painting with not only an oil primer, but the luxurious texture and archival tradition of linen! Exclusive OP enhanced oil priming! Centurion Deluxe Oil Primed 10"x20" Linen Panel, 3 PackSave Up to84%Off listWhite Master Quality Archival Deluxe Linen Panels! Superb performance and color retention! Exclusive OP enhanced oil priming As an oil colorist it is important to work on oil primed surfaces and not universal primed surfaces. The reason is that universal primed surfaces are semi-absorbent. Gesso is absorbent even if it is plate smooth. The paint does not get absorbed as much and sits on the surface more making it easy to blend and manipulate. Granted it is not highly absorbent but the fact remains that some oil will get into the primer and flatten the image. You can get around this by using an under-painting oil ground on top of the surface of a universal ground canvas but this is very time consuming and expensive. Unlike universal ground, our oil priming chemically bonds with the oil paint and is non-absorbent allowing the paint to sit up on the surface with the correct refraction quality of the oil binder. If you use any high-quality oil color we urge you to use an oil primed surface and now we make it affordable! Exclusive OP Enhanced Oil Priming! Centurion Deluxe Professional Oil Primed Linen Panels, specifically designed for oil painters. Superb receptive surface accepts even the thinnest oil color lay down without fragmenting on the surface and is a permanent surface as colors adhere better on it than any other oil primed canvas on the market today!
