White Exceptionally Smooth Professional Quality Cotton Panels Ideal for oils, acrylics, caseins, and alkyds, the New York Central Portrait-Smooth Artist Canvas Panels are manufactured using high-quality acrylic primed cotton canvas. Only the purest 100% cotton is used in the extra-tight weave to create an exceptionally smooth canvas free of the knots and bumps usually found in linen. The portrait-smooth canvas is then cleanly wrapped and adhered to a warp-resistant 3.5mm MDF board. Acid-free, archival glue acts as an archival barrier between the MDF and the canvas. New York Central's universally primed surface is ideal for oils, acrylics, caseins, and alkyds. Perfect for traveling and painting outside, the canvas panels are sturdy yet lightweight and take up less space than a standard stretched canvas. All New York Central products are premium quality and made with only the finest materials. Packaging Note: The primed canvas weighs 8.82 oz. per m2 and 7.37 oz per sq.yd. The square yard weight is listed on the canvas label; however, the correct weight is 8.82 oz.
