Yasutomo Traditional Chinese Inks are excellent for all types of ink work. The rich black pigmented ink is resoluble in water and perfect for painting, drawing, and calligraphy. You can create delicate washes of grey by diluting the ink with water or watercolor. A convenient flip-top cap allows you to pour the ink from the top or the side of the bottle. Once dry, the ink is resistant to reactivation, so you can wet mount your work without worrying about the ink smearing. All Yasutomo Traditional Chinese Inks are lightfast and conform to ASTM D-4236.

CM18 – Traditional Chinese Ink, Ultra Black: Ultra Black (CM18) is a very dense black, water-resistant ink that contains almost double the pigment of Black (CY18) ink. You can create unique tones by thinning with water.
