Winsor & Newton Series 7 Kolinsky Sable Watercolor Brush Sets
Winsor and Newton Series 7 Kolinsky Sable Watercolor Brush Sets
Hand made in England by Winsor & Newton’s expert brush makers, the Series 7 Kolinsky Sable Watercolor Brushes stem from standards of quality set in 1866 by Queen Victoria herself. Favoring the size 7 watercolor brush, Her Majesty gave orders that Winsor & Newton would produce the very finest in watercolor brushes. Each Artisan carefully creates each brush painstakingly by hand, drawing from over 10 years of brush making experience before being allowed to work on the Series 7 Brushes!
Series 7 are crafted from only the finest Kolinsky Sable hair, set in rust-proof, seamless nickel plated ferrules with black polished handles. Brushes are crafted to come to a crisp point, with the natural snap and spring in use that Kolinsky is prized for. Each brush has superior control, holding color deep in the belly while allowing it to flow evenly and consistently from the point onto the paper. Brush Sets of 3 and 4 come packaged in a wood box, making a perfect gift for any watercolorist! The Super Set includes four brushes and a black Studio Line Bamboo roll-up for storage and travel.
A long time favorite of the discriminating professional watercolorist, serious students and amateurs alike are seeing the value in an investment of one of the most top quality handmade brushes, making the learning curve to master watercolors quicker and less frustrating!
