Supplies, information and details for: Botanical Watercolor IV - Academy of Botanical Art

The Botanical Watercolor IV objective is to learn various advanced watercolor skills that enhance our developed drawing skills. In our previous watercolor exercises we have stayed true to the four basic brush strokes and to building colors through layering. In this class, we will learn several methods for applying paint to achieve a three-dimensional effect, and new methods that accomplish similar traditional affects while speeding up the process, building confidence, and creating our personal touch. Please review the list below and purchase only what you need. Remember to check your supplies of paper and order more if needed. You will need approximately 24 pieces of hot press paper cut into 7" x 10" sizes, and 24 pieces of cold press paper cut into 7" x 10" sizes. You can cut large sheets into these small pieces which you will find more economical. Or, if you prefer, you may purchase watercolor pads or blocks available on Jerry's Artarama website.
