Use with painting medium and brush for adding detail or creating soft blends. Colorless and Iridescent blender sticks are easy to use since no mediums are required. They are also a useful aid to the art teacher to help students grasp fundamentals of oil painting without using classroom time for mixing paint and clean-up. You can actually paint "wet into wet" with a solid oil stick, allowing a feeling of free, spontaneous expression. In most cases, the paint dries in 24 hours.
