Sennelier developed La Carte Pastel Paper Pads, especially for pastel painting. It's easy to work with the 200 lb. cards because they are stiff and hard to damage or crease. The surface of each pastel card is covered with a finely ground blend of cork and vegetable flakes. This unique surface offers a uniform texture that grabs and holds the most delicate soft and oil pastels. You'll be amazed at how well the surface accepts pastel, charcoal, and pencil. Each pad contains 12 sheets, two each of six colors.
