These multi-purpose handmade pastel stick contain the highest possible concentration of pure fine ground pigments and minimal binder content. As a result of the recipe and handmade formulation, Schmincke's extra-fine pastels are as delicate as velvet and silk thanks to their unique formulation and handcrafted production, and enable a particularly soft and intensive application of color. All colors are highly lightfast and fade-resistant, and each set features a well-balanced selection of assorted colors for painting any subject!

Working with Schmincke’s extra-soft pastels is a real painting experience rather than a simple drawing experience. These multi-purpose handmade pastel stick contain the highest possible concentration of pure fine ground pigments and minimal binder content. As a result of the recipe and handmade formulation, Schmincke extra-fine pastels have an incredibly soft and velvety color application without any crumbling or breaking. The use of machinery is avoided during the manufacturing process, and sorting by hand is the only way Schmincke can guarantee quality, smoothness, and color consistency. All colors are highly lightfast and fade-resistant, and each set features a well-balanced selection of assorted colors for painting any subject!
