Pastelmat Pad Palette No. 5 - Assorted Colors, 24x30cm (12-Sheets)
There's no need to spray layers of fixative when working on Pastelmat paper. Pastels adhere so well to the surface that you can apply several layers without the colors becoming too saturated or muddy. Pastelmat offers a velvety texture that is softer than sandpaper. Course cellulose on the surface grabs broken pastel pigments and pulls them into the paper. It's so versatile that, in addition to pastel and pastel pencils, Pastelmat will support most dry and wet media, including watercolor and gouache.
- Acid-free, pH-neutral pastel paper
- Includes: Dark Green, Light Green, White, and Dark Blue
- The velvety surface is not as abrasive as sandpaper
- Holds up to water and solvent-based washes
- Cellulose surface holds pigment deeply
- Fixatives are not needed for layers
