Not only can you use the Overby pocket easel as a great table easel anywhere, it also is fantastic for display of "edge to edge" paintings and can be a great choice for travel, second or third easel, or to set up to paint any where without it sliding. The rubber pads at the base really keep this easel in place and even firm brush strokes could be made as solidly as with other tabletop easels.

The Overby Pocket Easel Story! When we first looked at this easel we almost thought it was a joke. In front of us where two pieces of wood 12" long with a notch cut out at an angle. It also said patent pending and we thought what can you possibly do with these. Then we took a 24" x 24" with an 3/4" stretched canvas and placed it in the right and left easel section. We were truly amazed. It actually supported the canvas very well. An unlikely design that now had important implications.

Holds your canvas very sturdy while you're painting. Even when you push the paint hard into the canvas fibers. It adjusts to the many different sized canvas' and the rubber feet make it a solid grip placed anywhere. It's affordable and displays finished paintings very nicely!
