Lightweight Steel Folding Easels for Indoors and Out!

This lightweight 5 lb easel is fashioned from chromium plated and varnished steel in rich baked enamel finish. Center section accepts canvas or watercolor block up to 28" in height and any reasonable width and is adjustable from horizontal to vertical.

Complete with leg clips that allow you (when painting in the vertical position) to paint subjects up to 52" high! Telescoping legs allow you to easily set up easel to a sitting or standing height and are finished with rubber tipped feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DWTT from Portability. Lightweight with nylon carry case. You can sling the straps over your shoulders and carry enough for a show in one trip! I use these for Arts in the Parks and outdoor shows as well as regular exhibits. Love the red color, because sometimes you just really need red.

This easel has it all. The lower clamps accommodate large work or hold supplies. I use these easels when I teach plain air (and do it). great for displays and they make an affordable easel for someone on a budget. I own 30 of them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vitaly from Works perfectly as palette holder I bought this kind of easel to hold my palette, because it can tilt and I can regulate how the light falls on my oil paints while I am painting. As well as to hold my canvas. The easel is sturdy and not too lightweight. All finish looks good. The rubber end of the handle is not glued though and might get lost, but that's a tiny disadvantage. Especially for the money I paid.

Everyone had them for class because They are a perfect size, holds your water bucket for watercolor painting and your paper towels. It's so light weight and easy to carry! Even great in the rain !!!!

I am so happy with this easel, it actually meets all of my requirements! I have taken it on the road and also used it inside, works very well, don't hesitate if you have been looking for a really well designed piece of equipment.

How tall is the easel fully extended. I'm 5'9". Is it tall enough for me to draw standing up? Also, is it sturdy enough to draw applying a bit of pressure to the canvas?

What is the fold down size? Will it fit into a 24" long suitcase?

The dimensions for the easel can be found by clicking the yellow circular icon beside the price of the easel. The easel can fold down for storage to the dimensions of 34"x5"x3".

Can you turn it around to have a better angle ( upside down or on the side)?
