Try Mabef's A-Frame style Tilting Lyre Easel. It is made from durable, solid oiled Beechwood and follows a classic Italian easel design. The Lyre easel has been around for decades because it is portable, easy to store, and can hold canvases up to forty-nine inches high. At the lowest setting on the mast, it is 69 and 1/4” inches tall; when fully extended, the mast reaches 96 and 1/2” inches tall. The ratcheting canvas tray adjusts quickly and efficiently and can support a canvas up to 22lbs in weight. The Mabef Lyre Easel uses minimal floorspace in institutional settings, and the footprint measures a mere 26” x 30” inches. The tilt for painting and pastel work is 5 degrees forward and 15 degrees backward, adjusted easily with a sliding mast adjustment. The tray can go as low as 15 and 3/4” inches from the floor to 41 and 3/4” inches high.
