Mabef’s M­18D Convertible H­Frame Studio Easel is crafted from solid oiled beechwood and rust-­proof, brass-­plated hardware. This sturdy easel accepts both vertically and horizontally positioned canvases. The artist can lock the easel in any position between vertical and horizontal, allowing for angle selection it can be tilted up to 5 degrees forward for pastelists, at normal vertical for easel painting, yet can be adjusted flat at a 90 degree angle for watercolors or poured paintings. The easel’s sturdy base has four heavy duty casters to easily maneuver the easel, and 4 leveling bolts to secure the easel once in the desired working location. The footprint measurement of the base is 26 3/8" wide and 29 1/2" deep. The mast's minimum set easel height is 71", and mast extends to a full height of 147 1/2". Measurements on the canvas tray are a 2" deep lip and 23 1/2" wide; with the storage tray inside measurement of 18 3/4” wide x 5” high x 5 1/8” deep. The tray is adjustable with a ratchet­-style adjustment from 13 3/4” from the floor to a height of 52 3/4” on the mast. The M­18D accepts canvases up to 88" high.
