Liquitex Acrylic Fluid Mediums - Gloss, 64oz
Gloss Medium is an all-purpose medium for imparting gloss. Thin and extend your paint while giving it a gloss finish. Or use it as a collaging glue.
- Increases transparency and surface gloss
- Lowers viscosity and extends acrylic paint further
- Does not affect acrylic stability
- Intermixable with all Liquitex materials
How to use it
If you are trying to create your own custom satin fluid medium, you can mix gloss medium with Liquitex Matte Medium.
Mix as much medium as you like with acrylic color to create your idea of the perfect viscosity and transparency. The more medium you add, the thinner and more transparent your color will become. Stir gently to avoid creating foam - if bubbles appear, leave it to sit while the bubbles rise and disappear
To fix pastel, graphite or chalk, mix 1 part medium to 1 part distilled water and apply with an atomizer or airbrush.
