The curved blade distributes pressure evenly so that the surface is not damaged as you scrape. Scrapers are also perfect for modern impasto techniques and reductive painting. You can even scrape out areas of the painting's original ground color by removing what is wet. Jack Richeson Canvas Scrapers are available in 2-5/8" and 4-3/8" blade lengths. The double-edged steel blades are set in polished wooden handles.
