Jack Richeson Clear Carve Etching Plates are non-porous, transparent printmaking plates perfect for drypoint, monotype, etching and calligraphy. Each 0.03” (0.75 mm) thick printmaking plate is made of clear PETG plastic, making it very easy to trace and etch designs. Available in 5 sizes, these easy to use clear plastic etching plates are a great way to introduce your class to printmaking. Just put an image under the transparent plate, use an etching tool to trace the image or create your own freehand design, and you’re ready to print!
