StudioSolv™ has a flashpoint of 144°F which classifies it as a combustible liquid by DOT regulations, however, it is considered safer than solvents with lower flashpoints and faster evaporation rates. StudioSolv™ conforms to FAA and TSA guidelines and can be safely transported by airplane, making it a convenient option for artists who travel.

While StudioSolv™ is currently allowed by FAA guidelines, we recommend always checking current regulations before traveling. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, please bring a printed copy of the SDS and travel guidelines to show at baggage check. If the flight is international, please check the policy of your destination country.

Solvents should be stored in an airtight container out of reach of children. Replacing the lid during painting sessions can help reduce VOC levels in the air. Always work in a well-ventilated area. Wash your hands after painting and before eating.

StudioSolv™ is not recommended for use with gum resin mediums like dammar, copal, and mastic. Gum resins pair well with traditional turpentine.
