It has a moderate dry time rate of 3-4 days and remains workable for hours. Unlike the other Galkyd mediums, Galkyd Lite Gel gives colors a satin gloss rather than a high gloss finish. Galkyd Lite Gel makes slightly thicker layers that retain texture. It is formulated with Gamsol and is a favorite for transparent glazing techniques.
