Creative Inspirations White Gesso is ideal for adding additional primer to dry, thinly primed student-grade or hobby quality canvases, to provide a smoother, better bonding surface for acrylic or oils. For priming raw canvas or heavier paper surfaces, three coats of primer are recommended to properly seal the material and give a consistent white surface texture for painting.
