Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Really Enjoy Using This Brush Though this brush does have a tendancy to "lose a few hairs", that's not a big enough issue to deter me from choosing it. In fact, the 2" Colorburst is one of my favorites. I eventually purchased 8 additional to use in applying a variety of deeply colored pigments in the background washes of my large scale (40" x 60") watercolor paintings. The brush is light weight but well balanced, and I find I use the fine sharp edge as much as the flat expanse in a variety of ways. The brush holds a lot of liquid, and that also allows me to work quickly and control the "chaos" when working big areas wet on wet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is one good brush! I bought this brush to use in my plein air pack and am also using it in my studio. The combination of natural and synthetic bristles help it hold water and paint and still keep its shape. I like to use it even more than the White Sable 2" wash brush I was using. Granted I bought the Colorburst brush on sale but at full price it would still be worth the money.
