Permanent and lightfast, the Extra Fine Oil Color Salutation Set of 8 is designed to accurately reflect the hues of nature, making them ideal for plein aire painting. The smooth and creamy texture lends itself perfectly to alla prima painting, yet the high pigment concentration also allows paint to be thinned down to the most subtle and luminous glazes. The main binding ingredient is poppy oil (no tendency to yellow over time) which provides a rich creaminess to the paint. (as with any Poppy Oil based paint, remember to follow the fat over lean method of painting). The set includes French Yellow Primary, Burnt Umber, Carmine, Ultramarine Blue, Permanent Green Light, Yellow Ochre, Titanium White, and Senois Orange
