Rated 5 out of 5 by MountainPainter from Great watercolor paper! Bockingford has become a favorite of mine. As a watercolor paper, I find it highly responsive when using wet-into-wet. Being wood pulp based, it swells more when I use a lot of water over a large area, but will nearly flatten out again with time. It's still something new to me, but I'm enjoying getting to know it. One of the keys to using this paper is to not stretch it! It becomes more absorbent and a lot less flexible when stretched. I only wish Jerry's still carried the other tinted versions of this paper. I'd also like to try the hot press, but don't know where I can find it. Still, I'm looking forward to trying the 200 lb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wonderful liftng ability Bockingford is the correctable watercolor paper! Very easy to lift even staining colors. A very soft paper, frisket or masking must be used carefully. Use a soft brush to lift color. Well sized, easy to lay washes or create detail.
