Bob Ross has been on over 250 channels and lectured throughout the world on his Joy of Painting method. The Bob Ross line of oil paints was developed to meet the demand for his wet-on-wet technique, which is a process of painting over layers of wet paint to achieve relatively fast and effective results.

Bob Ross Oil Colors are a unique firm oil paint which is a bit thicker than conventional artists' colors due to the needs of Bob's famous wet-on-wet technique. Highlight colors such as yellow are a bit thinner to facilitate easier mixing and application.
