The gentle, non-hazardous soap-based cleaner works within minutes for oil colors and hours for dried acrylics. Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner leaves natural and synthetic brushes soft and clean while removing all paint residue. Key Features: * Gentle, effective brush cleaner * Soap-based formula * Non-hazardous and low-vapor * Foams a little when scrubbed Perfect For: * Natural and synthetic brushes * Oil, alkyd, and acrylic paint * Removing wet and dried paint * Cleaning palette knives and more The new soap-based Brush Cleaner is better than the old formulation. Winsor & Newton changed the product name from 'Brush Cleaner and Restorer' to 'Brush Cleaner' to clarify the differences. The new cleaner has a soap base that foams a little when scrubbed. Tip: Avoid contact with varnished or lacquered surfaces, such as brush handles, as the cleaner will soften any paint or stain on the handle. It's also best to use this cleaner at the end of your painting session and use a different rinse aid while painting. Instructions: Dip the brush into the liquid and scrub a little if necessary. The resulting foam will help rinse the pigments and binders out of the brush. Then, wipe the brush with a cloth and rinse with water. If the brush is very clogged, it may be necessary to soak it for longer, possibly overnight. You can use a rubber band or clamp to suspend the brush in the liquid. See More

There are five types of Liquin, and each will help you accelerate the drying times of your oil paint. Each variety has a slightly different formula, but they are all related to the original Liquin recipe. Key Features: * Speeds up the drying process * Adds transparency and gloss * Non-yellowing Perfect For: * Oils and alkyds * Reducing brush strokes * Glazing and blending techniques Liquin™ Original - halves the drying time of oil colour and reduces brush stroke retention. Creates a smooth, gel-like paint film that is easier to work with. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Liquin™ Light Gel - halves the drying time of oil colour and produces a smooth gel. Creates low-viscosity, gel-like paint film that is easier to work with and reduces brush stroke retention. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Liquin™ Fine Detail - The most fluid medium within the Liquin™ family. Add to colour to produce a low-viscosity mixture. Increases fluidity and reduces brushstroke retention. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Liquin™ Impasto - A paste-like, semi-gloss version of Liquin™ that halves the drying time of oil and produces a crisp texture. Adds viscosity to your paint that retains marks from brushes or palette knives. It allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Speeds drying (touch dry in 1-6 days, depending on paint thickness). Resists yellowing. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat. Liquin™ Oleopasto - A paste-like, semi-matte version of Liquin™ that halves the drying time of oil. Creates a viscous paint that holds many marks from brushes or palette knives. Keeps the oily texture of pure oil paint. Allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. (touch dry in 1-6 days, depending on colour paint thickness). Suitable for impasto & texture work. Resists yellowing. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat. Blending & Glazing Medium - Adjusts oil paint's viscosity and drying behavior for seamless colour blends and even glazes. Improves transparency.
