Grumbacher Vine Charcoal is soft, crumbles as you sketch, and is easy to erase. The vine sticks are approximately 5-3/4" long and .25" (.635 cm) in diameter. Because the charcoal is natural and contains no binding agents, it can easily break if you don't handle it gently. Vine charcoal sticks are perfect for quick expressive marks and gestural drawing.
