So even when fully extended, the security of the canvas up to 60" wide and 90" high is never in question. The Renaissance Easel is one of the first huge studio easels that allow free movement forward to reduce glare and to enable painting with pastel. It features a full range of backward angles to reduce glare and increase working comfort. The engineered bracing system and hinges are made to last a lifetime no matter how many times you adjust the easel. The super smooth crank adjustment system makes lifting virtually any weight canvas quick and easy. When you don't need the hand crank you can remove it so it is out of the way. To enable painting edge to edge the easel features removable metal screw-on spacers. These spacers offset the canvas and eliminate the problem of finishing the painting at the edges.
