To clean, simply remove the nib from the pen body housing, and take off the ink reservoir from the nib. Fill the rubber bulb syringe bladder with cleaning fluid, and plug syringe into the back of the point assembly. Gently squeeze the syringe bladder to push cleaner through the nib, which flushes out ink and residue. Clogged points can be soaked in cleaner, and then cleaned with syringe to remove residue. Comes with a 2oz bottle of Koh-I-Noor Rapido-EZE Pen Cleaner.
