Lukas Acrylic Pouring Medium, 5 Liter JugSave Up to80%Off listClear Transparent The Unique, next level of pouring medium! More of what you love and less of what you don't like about pouring! When added to acrylic paint, traditional pouring mediums generate random cells of color; as a result, most pourers add silicone to the mix to create more interesting shapes. LUKAS Pouring Medium is unique because you can create more dramatic effects without adding silicone and still produce spectacular cell formations. Other pouring mediums on the market such as Liquitex are very tacky until thoroughly dry causing dust particles to interfere with results. Surface defects from craters to cracks are a pitfall of traditional and household pouring mediums. LUKAS Pouring Medium is a real breakthrough because it dries to a beautiful satin sheen with almost no noticeable cavities and absolutely no cracking. The rule of thumb is the lower viscosity of the paint, such as ink, the smaller the ratio of the pouring medium, while thicker heavy body paint would receive a more significant portion of the medium. You can use virtually any acrylic based color, but we suggest richly pigmented colors! You can pour this flexible acrylic medium over almost any substrate, but it is better to pour on a hard flat surface such as a wooden panel. By changing mix ratios, variety of colors, viscosity, and types of substrates, it is almost impossible to run out of distinct variations. If you did five pours every day for the rest of your life, you’d only scratch the surface on the final creations you could create! LUKAS Pouring Medium is the next level of pouring medium designed to create the most beautiful and interesting pours. If for any reason you don’t feel that LUKAS Pouring Medium yields the best results in pouring, you can return it for a full refund. Key Features: * No need to add silicone for more cell formation* Pour over any hard flat surface* Dries to a permanent hard, water-resistant surface* Even sheen, non-tacky, satin sheen* Higher definition, greater cell formation* Smooth level surfaces, less defects* No cracks and no craters* Will not yellow or discolor over time* Less tacky* Dries to a permanent water resistant, crack free surface* Formulated with self leveling and anti crater additives* Impossible to run out of inspiration* Available In: 250ml, 500ml & 5 Liter(169oz / 1.32 gallons) Perfect For: * Dirty pours and cup pouring * Liquid pouring * Superb control and excellent definition * Creating interesting pours * Organic shape creation * Beautiful satin sheen * Everyday studio use * Pouring Medium Brochure Pouring Medium: V30392 or V30393 LUKAS pouring medium improves the flow characteristics of acrylic paints and is perfect for pouring techniques. Once dry, the medium creates a transparent, waterproof, polished surface. Formulated with self levelling and anti crater additives that also enable cell formation without the use of silicones. LUKAS pouring medium contains synthetic resin dispersion additives to improve flow but will not yellow or discolor over time. See More
