There is a greater supply of pine in the thinner and shorter length, so we use high-quality white pine for these bars. The lightweight bars are extremely useful in small paintings. These bars can save you money and make framing easier; perfect for beginners, college students, and small works of art. All of BEST's Stretcher Bars are designed so that the canvas is always a full ½" (except lightweight) from the stretcher bar to ensure that there will be no "ghost" impressions on the canvas. The rounded back edge reduces surface friction and allows for a smoother, tighter draw on the canvas for a more even painting surface. All feature a slotted back for easy installation of cross braces. Bars are made of pure kiln-dried white pine. Measure 1 ¼" deep × 1 ½" wide. (See line drawing in images) All Stretcher Bars are undersized by ⅛" to allow for fitting in a standard stock frame. If you require exact dimensions, this will be considered a custom order. Grumbacher Final Fixatives are used to fix and protect dry media such as pastels, charcoal, pastel pencils, and graphite from smudging or rubbing off and come in glossy and matte finishes. Colorless, flexible, and non-yellowing, Final Fixative is fast-drying and is appropriate for use on paper, photographs, printed materials, and ceramics. Grumbacher Workable Fixative is a matte spray used to fix traditional dry media or dried designers gouache for additional layers of media. To prevent your paint from beading up on a non-porous surface like acetate, you can prepare the surface with workable fixative. Workable Fixative was initially developed for gouache paint users. The matte fixing spray allowed artists to fix dried gouache and paint over it without reawakening the original layer of paint. Now working fixative is primarily used with dry media. I Am Not A Robot Large T-ShirtSave Up to70%Off listGrey If you have ever felt inconsequential within the larger system we live in. You are not alone. WE ARE NOT ROBOTS. WE HOUSE AND HARVEST INDIVIDUALISTIC EXPRESSION! If you have ever felt inconsequential within the larger system we live in. You are not alone. We are immersed in a society that is increasingly moving us away from our individuality. Yet what this system fails to recognize is that the distinguishing characteristic of our own inherent humanity lies in the fact that we possess the ability to create. As an artist, “I Am Not a Robot, I Create” should be your mantra, quest, and point of view. Truly though, perhaps the greatest prize of all is the possibility of being a part of a movement that sparked a conversation. A conversation that hopefully makes a difference, one individual at a time. For, after all, you are not a robot. You can create great things.WE ARE ALL UNIQUE WITH THE CAPACITY FOR CREATIVITY AND ARTISTIC EXPRESSION Through purposeful creation, we form physical manifestations of our uniqueness. Of course, there is not simply just one correct way to do anything, and with that idea, we find that there is infinite strength in individualism. What one person may envision and create given a blank canvas can be, and often is, vastly different from another person’s creation. It is because of this that humans exist as so much more than cogs in a machine. From our workplace experience to the education of our children, every aspect of our way of life tries to limit what human beings have always done best, think creatively! During this creative outlet, we can often find our voice and sense of self as an individual. Jerry's t-shirt you are given is of the highest quality and perfect for exploring your sense of individuality. From spray paint to screen printing, this shirt is an ideal canvas for all art mediums. It also features the “I Am Not a Robot. I Create.” logo that is intended to inspire you to explain to others why art is so essential to the human equation. See More
