Centurion Deluxe Oil Primed 8"x16" Linen Panel, 3 PackSave Up to84%Off listWhite Master Quality Archival Deluxe Linen Panels! Superb performance and color retention! Exclusive OP enhanced oil priming As an oil colorist it is important to work on oil primed surfaces and not universal primed surfaces. The reason is that universal primed surfaces are semi-absorbent. Gesso is absorbent even if it is plate smooth. The paint does not get absorbed as much and sits on the surface more making it easy to blend and manipulate. Granted it is not highly absorbent but the fact remains that some oil will get into the primer and flatten the image. You can get around this by using an under-painting oil ground on top of the surface of a universal ground canvas but this is very time consuming and expensive. Unlike universal ground, our oil priming chemically bonds with the oil paint and is non-absorbent allowing the paint to sit up on the surface with the correct refraction quality of the oil binder. If you use any high-quality oil color we urge you to use an oil primed surface and now we make it affordable! Exclusive OP Enhanced Oil Priming! Centurion Deluxe Professional Oil Primed Linen Panels, specifically designed for oil painters. Superb receptive surface accepts even the thinnest oil color lay down without fragmenting on the surface and is a permanent surface as colors adhere better on it than any other oil primed canvas on the market today! M. Graham Oil Color 37ml - Zinc WhiteSave Up to40%Off listWhite M. Graham Oils - The only oil paint with Walnut Oil In the tradition of the masters, M. Graham artistsā oil paint is made with pure walnut oil for its brilliance, clarity, texture, and resistance to fading and yellowing. Working in small batches, we craft oil colors true to the roots of Renaissance painting: delicately free-flowing, solvent-free, and with no fillers or additives. Founded by artists, M. Graham Oils use only the finest vehicle, Walnut Oil to make some of the finest oil paints on the market! Walnut oil provides a "unique refractive index" and will not yellow over time, which allows for incredible paint brilliance. Walnut oil's unique body allows for an increased amount of pigment suspension in comparison with other oils, giving their paint higher color saturation and tinting strength, as a result. Manufactured with only the finest example of each available pigment source, their paints contain no fillers, extenders, or adulterants, which have negative effects on color and how the eye perceives it. Hand-crafted in small batches, attention is paid to adapting manufacturing processes to specific pigment "personalities" and requirements. Use of proper milling pressure for each pigment helps to achieve optimum pigment load and dispersion. Artists run the Quality Control Department at M.
