Colorless, flexible, and non-yellowing, Final Fixative is fast-drying and is appropriate for use on paper, photographs, printed materials, and ceramics. Grumbacher Workable Fixative is a matte spray used to fix traditional dry media or dried designers gouache for additional layers of media. To prevent your paint from beading up on a non-porous surface like acetate, you can prepare the surface with workable fixative. Workable Fixative was initially developed for gouache paint users.
