Williamsburg Handmade Oil Paint - Cadmium Orange, 473ml CanSave Up to30%Off listOrange Handmade Master Quality Oil Paints - Manufactured In The U.S.A! Getting the proper pigment is just the beginning! So much of the quality of oil paint is in the grinding. Each color is ground to enhance the beauty and luminosity specific to that particular pigment. Some colors by nature will feel slightly gritty, others extremely smooth. For instance, Cerulean Blue will have a beautiful velvet, light-absorbing surface with an extremely strong covering power; Siennas, by comparison, are often chunky or gritty to allow light to travel through the vehicle, exposing rich golden or mahogany undertow instead of just heavy, dull browns. Pigments are ground in pure alkali-refined, ph balanced linseed oil, and made in batches no larger than 5 gallons at a time. This gives total control over the paint, much like late 19th-century French color makers. All materials are hand measured, and every ounce of paint is scrutinized. Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors are then packaged in 37ml and 150ml non-reactive aluminum tubes. Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors are used by the world’s finest artists, whose works can be found at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA in New York City, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and the Beaubourg in Paris. Key Features:* Professional, Handmade Oil Colors* Incredibly pigment rich paint* Dense buttery texture* Extensive Cobalt & Cadmium Colors* Large assortment of Earth Colors* Oil color line of 178 colors!* 37ml & 150ml Tubes* 237ml & 473ml Cans* Perfect For:* Professional Oil Painters* Discerning students & amateurs* Artists favoring Old Masters materials* Enthusiasts of handmade oil paints* Producing museum-quality artworks See More
