The finely ground, heavily loaded colors have a fantastic thick body and short tack for the ultimate painting experience. Like Their Puro counterparts, Classico whites are blended with non-yellowing oils (safflower oil) to retain their brightness and purity. Unlike other manufacturers that boast “real” cadmiums and cobalts (which can be as low as only a few percent), Classico’s authentic cadmium pigments are in a concentration between 20% and 25%. This perfect combination of modern and traditional pigments excels with color mixing and learning color theory, rather than using cheap, poor quality student brands full of fillers and little pigment.
