The worst experience a sculptor can have is to create something amazing, only to have the project fail due to the absence of sturdy support. Creative Mark's fully adjustable range of armatures come as a figure or a head-bust combo. Our armatures are malleable enough to provide true artistic freedom to create, while also providing a sturdy skeleton to hold the weight of modeling material. Each armature has a stiff steel post, and a base made of laminated particleboard. The aluminum wire is lightweight, pliable, non-staining, and non-corrosive. Each head has a partial neck and the space to build a unique bust. The base of the neck is wrapped in additional wire so that you may include the collarbone. Key Features: * Made of Aluminum * Pliable, non-staining, and non-corrosive wire * Laminated particleboard base * Stiff steel post * Each head has a partial neck * Neck base is wrapped in additional wire * Space to build a unique bust * Perfect For: * Sculpture applications * A base for moist clay or plastilina * Figurative sculpture * Lifesize bust portraits * Fine artists * Supporting polymer clay * Classroom and workshop environments Please note, you cannot put the armature in a kiln during firing. The clay will shrink, but the wire will not, resulting in cracking and breakage. You should remove the armature and hollow out the clay head before firing. We suggest using a wet and twisted newspaper armature as the paper will burn off during firing. See More

Its robust and supple design allows you to make curved or straight cuts. Even after repeated bending, the stainless steel blade will return to its straight shape. Liquid Polyclay Medium: Clear Liquid Polyclay Medium is an innovative product that supports the creation of perfect photo transfers and finishes for Kato Polyclay pieces. You can also use the medium as an adhesive, grout, or glaze. Liquid Polyclays should be cured at 300F (150C) for 20 minutes for a matte finish. To create a glossier finish, bake for an additional 10 minutes at 350F (177C), or wave a heat gun over the project until the desired glossiness appears. Do not inhale fumes and never cure above 350F (177C) or allow Liquid Polyclay to come in contact with an open flame. Polypaste Polymer Glue: You can use Polypaste as an adhesive, create textured surfaces, or repair cracks in polymer clay pieces with the paste. Because of its thick viscosity, it will not run. It is also a polymer clay, making it unlike any other adhesive out there. These unique properties make this medium useful in more ways than one. Polypaste can be used to bond polymer clay and finished Liquid Polyclay elements in any combination. Polypaste is exceptionally malleable; this makes it great for creating textured surfaces and embossing. After curing, adhesion is permanent. Polypaste can also be used as a softening agent if your clay is hard to condition. Repel Gel: Repel Gel is a water-soluble, non-toxic medium that prevents Kato Polyclay from sticking to itself during the baking process. The water-soluble gel is easy to use and easy to clean-up. Use a paintbrush to apply a thin coat of Repel Gel to the areas of the Polyclay were you want to avoid adhesion during the curing process. Follow baking instructions and separate the clay where you applied the Repel Gel. You can rinse off any residue with cold water. See More
